Walker Lincoln's Past Projects

Power Generation Sector

The 8.5m x 2.1m x 250mm tee slotted floorplate (in two sections) was supplied and fitted by Walker Lincoln Ltd and was mounted on a 90 tonne seismic mass in one of Cummins Daventry's diesel engine testing facility.

Renewables Sector

In 2025 Walker Lincoln Ltd. supplied Vestas Wind Technology with 10 off heavy duty 4m x 2m x 350mm t-slot floorplates, which were deployed in 5 pairs for testing large wind turbine blades. Extra deep 28mm t-slots were designed to cope with large loads.

Motorsport Sector

Walker Lincoln provided bespoke T-slot floorplates for a Formula 1 team's R&D facility, ensuring a rigid base for accurate test measurement

Loading t-slot plate for shipment to Australia

At Walker Lincoln, we have the capability to export pack and our works is equipped with a 25 ton overhead crane. The Stolle 6m x 2m x 300mm floorplate seen being loaded in the photo left, is one of two being sent to Fortesque Future Industries near Perth, Australia.

This used 5m x 3m floorplate was transported from our works to Aeromobil in Bratislava, where it is used to help create flying cars!
